David Arsenault

June 2019 David Arsenault aquired the Caledon Golden Hawks Junior C Hockey Club.  The Golden Hawks will now be part of the AHG Hockey Group together with the Brampton Admirals Junior A and the Brampton Bombers Junior B clubs.

On June 18, 2018, David Arsenault, relocated and rebranded the Orangeville Flyers as the Brampton Admirals. The Brampton Admirals and his Junior B team, the Brampton Bombers, will play home games at the Brampton Memorial Arena.

David was the Owner and President of the Orangeville Flyers from 2011 to 2018 after purchasing the old Thornhill Thunderbirds franchise in 2007and operating the Villanova Knights for 4 years, the last 2 were very successful, reaching the final 8 this past season. In April 2011 the OJHL Board of Directors approved the Knights relocation request to move to Orangeville. David looks forward to working with General Manager Dana Baker, along with Head Coach Justin Teakle and his staff in the upcoming 2018-2019 hockey season.

In the fall of 2009, Mr Arsenault took over the defunct Owen Sound Greys Jr B  hockey team, and joined the Greater Ontario Junior B Hockey League in September of 2010. The purpose was to create a vertical affiliation to move players from Junior B to Junior A. (In 2011, he moved the Owen Sound team to Brampton as the Brampton Bombers and they currently play in the same league out of the Brampton Memorial Arena). The entire affiiliation was completed in May 2010, when Mr Arsenault purchased the Fergus Devils Jr C team, playing out of the Georgian Bay Mid Ontario Hockey League Together the vertical affiliation is complete, and it allows for complete movement through the system from Junior C to Junior A. There is no system set up like this in Ontario, which allows our organization to monitor the movement of our players through all 3 junior levels

David played minor hockey until Midget when an injury ended his further playing aspirations. Knowing that he couldn't move forward as a player, he focused on school and has both a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Ryerson and a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Arsenault owns a successful Architectural Company (Arsenault Architect Inc.) located in Etobicoke. He also owns numerous other companies but his passion is for the game of hockey. Owning a team in the league has been a dream for many years. He is very adamant to build the best franchise possible. This not only includes the on-ice product, but also all facets relating to the hockey operations, business, marketing and development.
