Another Successful Pink in the Rink

On the weekend of Nov-17 to Nov-20, 2022, our three junior teams – Admirals Jr. A, Bombers Jr. B and Golden Hawks Jr. C – held Pink in the Rink events, each supporting a cancer-related charity.  Among the three teams, we raised a total of $12,500 for these charities.  Thanks to all who contributed to making that weekend such a great success!

With your support, and the generous sponsorship of Fuller Landau, a leading accounting, tax, and advisory firm, the Caledon Golden Hawks were able to raise $3500 for Wellspring Chinguacousy!  In attendance at the game on Dec-18 to present the cheque was Fuller Landau CFO, Mr. David D’Cruz (left). Accepting the cheque on behalf of Wellspring Chinguacousy was their Manager of Operations & Information, Mr. Neal McCaffrey (right).

For those not familiar, Wellspring Chinguacousy is a cancer support centre located in a residential neighborhood in the heart of Peel, less than 4km from Mayfield Arena. This warm, welcoming and safe centre has helped thousands of people overcome the many emotional, physical, practical and informational challenges that often come with a cancer diagnosis. No medical referral is required, and all programs and services are provided free of charge.
